Q: What does Women’s Month and International Women’s Day(IWD) March 8 mean to you?

Despite the many obstacles women face, International Women's day is a day to bring to light what women have achieved. 

Q: In your opinion, why is it important to talk about and celebrate women’s month? 

Women who have succeeded have done so despite the many obstacles they face. 
It is important to celebrate this day to bring to light the systemic flaws in place that make it hard for women, and other excluded groups, to live to their full potential. 

Q: Any tips for how our community can continue to support and improve the lives of women? 

Be an ally to women, actively listen without prejudice or wanting to equate one woman's experience with yours.

Q: What advice do you have for other women reading this blog?

You are doing great where you are. It might not feel like it but 10 years from now you will look back and be in awe of what you accomplished or survived in this moment.
